Murcia Region Awards Major Multi-Million Euro Wastewater Treatment Contract

Regional sanitation authority Esamur has concluded a major tender to maintain 54 wastewater treatment plants across 38 municipalities. The contract, valued at over 81 million euros, covers operational management for the next three years. Five companies and joint ventures have been selected to divide the responsibility across nine territorial zones. Bidders were limited to securing a maximum of two zones to ensure distributed management across the region. This initiative aims to maintain vital sanitation infrastructure throughout Murcia.
